As the Technical Designer of the Activity Mat, my role was to ensure that the product meets both functional and aesthetic requirements. One of the key aspects I focused on was the stitching, which plays a crucial role in the mat's durability and longevity.

I enforced strong and reinforced stitching throughout the mat to withstand the play and exploration of your energetic pup. By using high-quality stitching techniques, I aimed to create a product that can endure the rigorous use it may experience.

In addition to durability, I carefully selected materials and fabrics that are easy to clean. I understand that pets can make a mess during playtime, and it's essential to provide a hassle-free cleaning experience for pet owners. The chosen fabrics are resistant to stains and can be easily wiped clean or spot-treated when necessary.

Furthermore, I paid special attention to selecting materials that are inviting and comfortable for your pet. The plush folds and inner pockets are designed to be soft and cozy, providing a pleasant sensory experience for your furry friend. This not only enhances their enjoyment but also encourages them to engage with the toy.

By incorporating these design choices, I aimed to create an Activity Mat that not only satisfies your pet's need for stimulation but also ensures easy maintenance and a positive play experience.

Below are paper mock ups of original Activity Matz - Fast Food. Paper Mock ups are made to help imagine size and construction of overall design and function of the product.

Fabric Prototypes were created by me and tested upon multiple different dogs. Each dog was studied on how they interacted with each prototype and noted the differences of material, construction and function of the product.
