ESCARGOT
These snail coin purses were made while studying abroad in Lacoste, France. The medieval village of Lacoste was populous by escargot. When it would rain the snails would come out from the flowerbeds and swarm the cobble-stone streets of Lacoste. Overall these snails are a unique representation of the region of Southern France and the creatures that occupy it.
